  1. On may 10, election day, voting will start at maybe 6 or 7 in the morning. is there a time for the watchers, the BEI's, and everyone in the poll area to check if the memory of the PCOS machine is totally empty???

Will the BEI's have the right to deny to the voting public to check and print the contents of the memory chips inside the PCOS machine?

  2. mcgyver,

As standard operating procedure, the first thing that is done after the PCOS is turned on is the machine is made to print out election receipts to show that the memory of the machine is empty. The count on the election receipts should be zero.

As to voters actually handling the machine or the memory card, this may be something that voters will not be allowed for security reasons.

for more info please visit the comelec website. it's all there.
